Southwest is now the largest carrier of domestic passengers and they offer many advantages to business travelers. For frequent business travelers on Southwest, this card offers a way to earn points towards award travel, and credit towards elite status.

4. United MileagePlus Explorer Business Card
This is a card for United Airlines frequent flyers who want to boost their stock of MileagePlus miles. It’s also a great way to enjoy additional travel perks when flying United. New applicants earn 50,000 bonus miles after spending $3,000 on new purchases within three months of account opening. This card offers double miles on all of your tickets purchased from United. You also earn double miles on all restaurant, gas station and office supply store purchases, and one mile per dollar spent elsewhere. It also offers a 10,000-point bonus when you use spend $25,000 with your card in a calendar year.
Benefits include a free standard checked bag, priority boarding and two United Club passes per year. There’s a $95 annual fee for this card that’s waived the first year, and no foreign transaction fees.
5. Marriott Rewards Premier Business Credit Card
Marriott is one of the favorite brands for business travelers, and this card is an excellent way to earn even more points towards free night stays. New cardholders earn 80,000 bonus points after making $3,000 in purchases within three months of account opening. You earn five points per dollar spent at more than 5,700 participating Marriott Rewards and SPG hotels. You also earn double points on airline tickets purchased directly with the airline, as well as at car rental agencies and restaurants.
Other benefits include an annual free night stay and the chance to earn credits towards elite status. There’s a $99 annual fee for this card, and no foreign transaction fees.
